Neev
A little stuck?
Let’s work it out.

A maths tutor in a phone for Class 6. It gives the next step, never the answer, and lets the student prove it to themselves.

The moment that matters

Just tell me the answer please
“I can help you find it step by step, but I cannot give the final number directly.”
“What is 6 + 4 to begin with?”

Answer apps hand over “20 cm”. It gets copied, then forgotten. Chirp hands back a smaller question. Two messages later Aarav adds the sides himself and hears “Spot on!”. That is the whole product in one exchange.

01 · Who it’s for

Stuck at 8 pm

Class 6, CBSE. Homework on a family phone. Stuck, and alone with it.

What does perimeter even mean?
A concept question gets a short explanation plus one small check
📷 Here’s the question from class
A photo gets read, never solved
Just tell me the answer!
Asking for the answer gets the next step instead

“Bring the question you got stuck on. Understand it together. Try a new one yourself.”

English by default, Hindi whenever asked. Username and password only: no email, no school invite yet. Curriculum: NCERT Ganita Prakash (provisional).

04 · Ask

One step at a time

Ask in your own words. Chirp replies with one small step and asks one question back.

Welcome screen

A blank page, readyEvery launch opens a fresh chat. No menus to learn first.

Tutor explains perimeter with a rectangle diagram

Explain, then askThe app draws the rectangle itself and never prints the answer on it.

Tutor confirms 20 cm and offers a fresh problem

Check, then inviteThe working is checked before praise. Then: “Ready to try this idea yourself?”

Every reply
  • 30–90 words, 2–4 short paragraphs
  • Ends with one question
  • Never the final answer first
  • Diagrams: fraction bar or rectangle, drawn by the app
  • English, Hindi on request

05 · Photo

Neev reads the photo. It never solves it.

Answer checks out, Chirp celebrates

Celebrate, honestly“One success is early evidence, not mastery.”

07 · Grow

See it grow

Labels come from real attempts. The AI never makes up a score.

08 · How it’s built
